Megyn Kelly Gets Some VERY Bad News

Earlier today, we reported that Megyn Kelly was strongly considering leaving Fox News for CNN when her contract expires in July. Now, she has been hit with some very bad news after a poll from Drudge revealed that the vast majority of conservatives actually want her to leave Fox.

The poll stated that 68% of those polled said they want Kelly to leave for CNN, while only 31% want her to stay at Fox. This is particularly since Drudge’s audience is overwhelmingly conservative, and therefore watch Fox far more than they watch CNN. Clearly, they are tired of seeing Kelly on their TV screens and they want her gone.

This comes after Kelly spent months relentlessly attacking Trump in the hopes of appealing to mainstream audiences. This resulted in her alienating Fox News viewers, which is reflected in this poll.

Reports came out today claiming that Kelly may leave Fox for CNN when her contract expires in July. CNN President Jeff Zucker is reportedly actively pursuing Kelly in the hopes that she will anchor the 8 or 9pm time slot on his liberal network.

“He is moving the Himalayan mountains to get her,” a top insider explains. “But they are tripped up on money. He simply can’t pay her the $20 million a year FOX has on the table.”

The Trumps will be an incredible first family. Do you agree?

Fox News insiders say Kelly is “despised” by her fellow hosts at the network, and that things have gotten even worse for her since the release of her memoir in which she attacked Fox repeatedly. She even refused to promote her book by appearing on the shows of Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly because of the tension she has with them.

Zucker has offered to compensate Kelly’s salary by heavily promoting her across all Time Warner outlets. A top source at CNN said that his network will make Kelly an international star if she joins them.

“It’s the opportunity of lifetime,” the source said. “She could even star in a movie at WARNER BROS.”
